About Trisha

I am a BIPOC, female therapist with other 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I have
worked in schools (both public and non-public), hospitals (IOP/ PHP) and private practice. Although I
have worked with children and teens, the later half of my work has focused on adults. This age group
will be the basis of our work.

I have been trained in “classic” or "typical” theories of practice, such as CBT, behavioral, person
centered, and other psycho-dynamic principles. Several years ago I began to wonder, both personally
and professionally, if there was more that could be done to help those struggling with their mental
health challenges. Talk therapy can only do so much. There is a growing body of evidence that
examines the connection between the mind and the body. A concept that is fairly new in Western
society, but is thousands of years old in Easter society. I was introduced to Energy modalities such as
TFT (Thought Field Therapy), TTT (Trauma Tapping Technique), yoga therapy and Eden Energy Medicine.
I also have a love of working with crystals.

 

I have taken workshops on Energy Psychology, AIT (advanced integrative therapy), and recently completed Level 1 of  EFT (Emotional Focused Techniques).

• Member of ACEP (Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology)

• Certified in TTT and TFT

• Board Approved Social Work supervisor since 2008
